Striker Emrehan Gedikli joins KAS Eupen for one year
The 21-year-old centre forward Emrehan Gedikli will play for KAS Eupen this season. The German-born Turk will join KAS Eupen on a one-year loan from Turkish Superliga club Konyaspor. He will therefore wear the Pandas jersey until 30 June 2025.
Emrehan Gedikli was born in Oberhausen on 20 April 2003 and trained at Bayer Leverkusen’s performance centre. He was called up to the club’s professional squad for the first time at the age of 17 and played his first men’s match in a Europa League match in November 2020. In 2022, he made the transition to seven-time Turkish champions Trabzonspor with a loan to Austrian Bundesliga club Lustenau (4 appearances) and in autumn he moved to Konyaspor in 2023 with a loan to Istanbulspor (7 appearances in the Super Liga). Despite his young age, Emrehan Gedikli has played in 22 matches in the top divisions in Germany, Austria, Turkey and the Europa League.
As a youth international, Emrehan Gedikli has played 24 international matches for the German Football Association DFB.
KAS Eupen is looking forward to working with Emrehan Gedikli and wishes him every success with the Pandas.
