Social enterprises Alternative, Intego, and Bisa
Based on positive experiences with numerous orders, KAS Eupen has intensified its cooperation with three regional social enterprises. KAS Eupen has entered into partnerships with Die Alternative, Intego, and BISA.
In the area of merchandising, KAS Eupen utilizes the expertise of the regional service provider Die Alternative. Among other things, the professional seamstresses at the company in Eupen’s Hostert district have produced sports bags bearing the KAS and FC Eupen logos, which were distributed to several hundred young soccer players at the St. Nicholas celebration. The cushions and reading pillows bearing the KAS logo are also manufactured by Die Alternative.
The social enterprise Intego, which emerged from the Cardijn workshop and the Work and Job company, has been a partner of KAS Eupen for several years. Intego employees lend a hand at the Kehrweg Stadium when major cleaning or gardening work needs to be done at short notice. The members of Eupis Kids Club have already visited Intego’s screen printing studio, where they were able to print their own T-shirts under the guidance of experts.
Thanks to its collaboration with BISA Ostbelgien, KAS Eupen also contributes to the environment by recycling and processing large quantities of green waste.
