KAS Eupen welcomes Loïc Bessilé on loan from Sporting Charleroi

KAS Eupen has signed defender Loïc Bessilé from Sporting Charleroi on loan until the end of the season. The 23-year-old central defender was formed at FC Toulouse and got his first professional contract in 2020 at Girondins de Bordeaux. In 2021, he joined Sporting Charleroi, where he is still under contract until 30 June 2023.

As a youth, Loïc Bessilé was selected 16 times for the French national team (from U16 to U18). With his dual French and Togolese nationality, he opted at senior level for the Togo national team, with which he has played 4 international matches so far.

Loïc Bessilé is 1.83 meters tall. He can play in several positions in defence and in defensive midfield.

With Sporting Charleroi, Loïc Bessilé played 38 games and was in the starting line-up under coach Edward Still. In the opening match of the 2022-2023 season, he scored the 2-0 goal in the home match against … KAS Eupen.
