KAS Eupen signs goalkeeper Lennart Moser

After a successful test training, KAS Eupen has signed 22-year-old goalkeeper Lennart Moser. The 1.96 meter tall player comes from Berlin and was trained in the youth department of Bundesliga club Union Berlin.

With KAS Eupen, he has signed a three-year contract until 30 June 2025. As goalkeeper for Cercle Brugge, he has already played in a championship match against KAS Eupen at the Kehrweg Stadium on 1 February 2020.

With the U17 and U19 of Union Berlin, Lennart Moser played 46 matches in the Bundesliga Nordost. In the 2019-2020 season, as a 19-year-old, he was first loaned to Energie Cottbus (Regionalliga Nordost) and then to Cercle Brugge, coached by Bernd Storck. In 7 appearances in the Jupiler Pro League, he contributed to Cercle’s stay in the league with three games without conceding a goal. Since 1 January 2021, Lennart Moser has been on loan to SK Austria Klagenfurt and has played 10 games for the club in the 2nd and 1st Austrian Bundesliga as well as in the Cup.

Christoph Henkel, general director of KAS Eupen: “We are happy to complete our goalkeeper team with Lennart Moser. He is a very talented goalkeeper who, despite his young age, has already gained some experience, both in the Austrian Bundesliga and the Belgian Pro League. At Cercle Brugge, he already proved as a 20-year-old that he can compete in this league. We are looking forward to working with Lennart and welcome him to our team.”
