KAS Eupen loses final friendly match to RFC Seraing 1–3
In their final friendly match before the start of the Challenger Pro League season, KAS Eupen suffered a 1–3 loss to RFC Seraing.
At Kehrweg Stadium, the visitors took a 1–0 lead in the 32nd minute on a penalty kick. Chance Simakala equalized in the 44th minute with a penalty kick awarded for a handball, making it 1–1.
In the second half, RFC Seraing scored two more goals and won the match 3–1. KAS Eupen will kick off the new Challenger Pro League season this coming Saturday, August 15, with a home game against Jong Genk.
The match at Kehrweg Stadium begins at 4:00 p.m.
