Gary Magnée extends contract with KAS Eupen until 2027

KAS Eupen and Gary Magnée have agreed on a long-term cooperation. The contract between the 22-year-old defensive player from Soumagne was extended this Thursday until 30 June 2027.

Gary Magnée was trained in the youth departments of FC Brugge and KRC Genk. In 2018, he joined the U21s of KAS Eupen, where he received his first professional contract in 2019. After tearing ligaments in his knee in March 2021, Gary Magnée was used in the 1st team for the first time again on 16 December 2021. Thanks to convincing performances, he immediately earned a regular place in the 1st team of KAS Eupen and made 16 consecutive appearances in the Jupiler Pro League until the end of the season.

Christoph Henkel, general director of KAS Eupen: “Gary Magnée has proven that he is one of the most talented players in the region and also fits perfectly into the KAS Eupen team in terms of attitude and playing style. Therefore, we are very happy that we could agree on such a long-term cooperation with Gary Magnée. We are convinced that he will develop even further at KAS Eupen and that he will continue to be a solid performer for our team in the future. We look forward to continuing to work with Gary.”
