Wedingo stays with KAS Eupen

Nigerian striker Ade Oguns, alias Wedingo, will continue to play for KAS Eupen in the coming season. Eupen had loaned Wedingo to Caracas FC at the beginning of the year for the second half of the season and is exercising the option agreed in the contract to extend the player’s contract until June 30, 2027.

Ade Oguns was born on April 14, 2001, in Lagos, Nigeria, and moved from Lion FC in Nigeria to Caracas FC in Venezuela’s top division at the age of 19. Wedingo proved himself to be a dangerous striker both at Caracas FC and during his loan spell at Moroccan first division club Wydad AC.

At KAS Eupen, he impressed with his athleticism and footballing skills and, after a period of adjustment, also proved his goal-scoring prowess. With his playing qualities and good character, he is a real asset to the team.

KAS Eupen looks forward to continuing to work with Wedingo and wishes him every success with the Pandas.
