SYSTEMATIC WASTE SEPARATION
AT THE KEHRWEG STADIUM

The Kehrweg Stadium is a place where lots of people regularly meet, consume goods and services, and consequently leave behind waste. Starting this season, this waste will be systematically separated and, for the most part, recycled.

The initiative will start with the first home game. The same measures have already been in place for several weeks in the club’s administration, Café Penalty, kitchen, lounge, and business club, as well as around the training grounds. Systematic waste separation is another step by KAS Eupen on the path to sustainability.

Specifically, containers will be set up on the grounds of the Kehrweg Stadium to collect PMK packaging, paper and cardboard, glass, organic waste, residual waste, and hazardous waste separately. Bins for PMK packaging and residual waste will be available in the stands. To help spectators get used to the new concept, eco teams consisting of volunteers will assist with waste separation during the initial phase.
