KAS Eupen starts using
reusable cups
When serving beer and beer-based mixed drinks, the new 33 cl reusable cups will be used instead of the disposable plastic cups used previously. Fans pay a deposit of €1 via their KASPaycard. This amount is credited back to the KASPaycard when the cup is returned to any bar.
After the games, the cups are washed at the Beschützende Werkstätte, one of KAS Eupen’s social partners, and prepared for the next game.
The new deposit cup system also applies to customers in the business area and Café Penalty who wish to take beer drinks outside.
In a second phase, KAS Eupen will also switch from the still common PET bottles to reusable cups for serving water and soft drinks outside.
