KAS Eupen has signed right-back Yentl Van Genechten. The 21-year-old joins KAS Eupen from KRC Genk and has signed in Eupen a three-year contract until 30 June 2025.

Yentl Van Genechten is 1.91 metres tall and was formed at KSK Heist, KV Mechelen and KVC Westerlo. With the KRC Genk U21 team, he won in the 2021-2022 season the national championship by a large margin. The newcomer by KAS Eupen is an exceptionally talented, ambitious and polyvalent player who can be deployed on the right side as well as in the centre of the defence.

Christoph Henkel, general director of KAS Eupen: “With Yentl Van Genechten, we have been able to sign a multifunctional player with a very good perspective. He has already worked with our coach Bernd Storck at KRC Genk and aims to establish himself in the Jupiler Pro League. We are convinced that he has the potential to do so and we want to support him in this. We heartily welcome Yentl Van Genechten in the KAS Eupen team.”
