Menno Koch moves from KAS Eupen to CSKA Sofia

Menno Koch (26) leaves KAS Eupen to join CSKA Sofia. The Dutchman has signed a contract of 3½ years with the Bulgarian national champion at 31 times. In Bulgaria, the winter transfer period runs until February 28th.

Menno Koch joined KAS Eupen in summer 2019 and played as central defender 42 matches for KAS Eupen. He was under contract at Eupen until 30 June 2022.

Commenting on the departure of Menno Koch to Sofia, the sports director of KAS Eupen, Jordi Condom, said: “We regret Menno Koch’s departure, but we did not want to refuse him the unique opportunity of a long-term commitment with CSKA Sofia, the Bulgarian top club. We would like to thank Menno Koch for his performance in the KAS Eupen jersey and his exemplary commitment at all times. We wish Menno good luck for the next stage of his career”.
