Dr. Andreas Bleicher: “Playing attractive and successful football with Andreas Beck”

KAS Eupen Board of Directors representative Dr. Andreas Bleicher commented on signing Andreas Beck: “After our captain Luis Garcia left our club, we were searching for an experienced player and a leader to help us providing stability to our team with some young players between 18 to around 23 years of age and to serve as a role model. We are particularly glad to announce that with Andreas Beck we signed a player, who besides his sportive achievements like winning amongst others the German and Turkish Championships, his experience of around 300 Bundesliga games and as a German National player convinced us especially with his character. Andreas Beck is a player, who represents uncompromising will to perform and to win. A professional always leading the way on and off the pitch. Andreas Beck is a “character” in the positive sense. An open minded and at the same time critical person, something which seems to be uncommon these days. Together with Andreas Beck we want to improve KAS Eupen further in a sporting sense and strive for the upcoming season to offer our fans attractive football, improving our 12th place ranking in last season’s final overall standings, reaching for the very first time in our club’s history a top 10 position. We are looking forward to a successful cooperation with Andreas Beck.”

Andreas Beck: “Looking forward to discovering the Belgian Pro League with KAS Eupen”

Andreas Beck expressed his enthusiasm about the new stage of his career at KAS Eupen: “I had a good feeling from the very first minute during the negotiations with the representatives in charge at KAS Eupen. The way the club wants to pursue and the role I was intended to play convinced me to join KAS Eupen. I am excited to discover the Belgian Pro League and would like to share my experience with my new team mates. I’m looking forward to my time at KAS Eupen!”
