KAS Eupen has agreed an early extension of the cooperation with Ivorian defender Silas Gnaka. The contract between KAS Eupen and 20-year-old Gnaka, which runs until June 2020, was extended by two years until June 30, 2022.
“Silas Gnaka has developed over the past year into a reliable regular for our first team,” explains KAS CEO Christoph Henkel. “It is the common desire of the player and the club to continue this good cooperation in the long term. We have therefore extended our contract with Silas Gnaka until summer 2022. We are looking forward to further cooperation with Silas and are confident that he will continue to develop with us in the coming years.”
Silas Gnaka was trained at Aspire Academy Senegal and joined KAS Eupen in January 2017 shortly after his 18th birthday. In 2018, he showed strong performances on the left defender’s post and has been in the KAS Eupen starting eleven since match day 4 of the current season.
